At the heart of the Wilde Bühne is the 14-member theater ensemble of addicts. Shaped by their biographies, the actors are striking witnesses and creators of their theater work. The ensemble performs in its own theater, the Wilde Bühne im Volkshaus, and gives guest performances at schools, youth centers, theaters and professional events throughout Germany.
The thematic focus is on the prevention of addiction and violence.
Discussion rounds following performances and forum theater open up access to questions and answers from personal experience with rare clarity. Life with and without drugs, fear, borderline experiences, life crises, bullying, violence and isolation can be discussed in an open dialog.
