Zum Schlips

Perhaps your grandparents went for a liqueur "zum Schlips" back then, because in the post-war period, today's pub was known as the tasting room for "August mit dem Schlips". This is the herbal liqueur from the Dortmund grain distillery Krämer and also the namesake of the traditional pub. The original tiles in the Schlips are reminiscent of these exciting times.

The concept in the Schlips is: 3 drinks, 2 days, 1 pub!

There are actually only 3 drinks on the menu: KRONEN Stößchen, juniper tonic and water.

It is open on exactly 2 days, namely Tuesday and Saturday, from 6 pm.

On all other days, you can hire the chic bar as a "private tie" for your personal celebration - with a certain minimum consumption, the Kaiser tie is yours for the night!

Another highlight is the bowling alley in the basement . You can easily book this (**soon**) via the website.

Incidentally, the Kaiser-Schlips at Kaiserstraße 31 a has a counterpart with an identical concept. However, it is open on Mondays and Fridays and serves delicious Pinot Gris instead of juniper tonic.

On the first Saturday of every month, the " Disco-Schlips " invites you to dance as the "smallest disco in town".
