FAVORITEN is the theater, dance and performance festival of the independent performing arts community in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is one of the oldest independent performing arts festivals in Germany and is aimed at people in the city and region as well as a national and international (specialist) audience. It takes place every two years in Dortmund.
