Berlin original Alice Hills has been sharing her exceptional musical
talents around the world since the age of 16, when she laid the
foundation for a flourishing Berlin busking scene. Now 16 years later- as a successful full-time musician and regular
headliner, she keeps busking in order to hone the humility, human
connection and ability to draw a crowd that street performers need. The audience-winning skills translate to exceptionally captivating, authentic shows. Her catchy pop, rock, folk tunes find depth and breadth from her soul
and jazz influences and her unique voice allows her to give an
impressively moving version of any song she turns to. After years of playing Solo Alice has handpicked some of the finest
Berlin-based musicians (from around the globe) to play as a band. Opening a new musical chapter as Alice Hills & The Velvet Shadows. They help add a layer of richness to Alice’ already powerful
performances; consisting of a double bass, chello and percussion/
drums and a second vocalist alongside Alice playing Guitar & singing. On April 3rd they are releasing the first ‚Single Choose to Stay‘ off their
upcoming 5-Track band EP in May 2025 and celebrating with a single
release band show at Werkhain (April 3rd from 7pm). Followed by a EP release show in May TBA.
