The Artur Rutkevich Quintet is a young, highly talented jazz formation led by alto saxophonist Artur Rutkevich, who grew up in Kaliningrad. The members of the band have played at many jazz festivals in Europe and have a lot of experience. The band's sound is refreshing, sonorous and lively. The young musicians from Berlin skilfully combine jazz tradition with contemporary, improvised music.
