Born into a family of Cuban descent in Miami, Erik Estronel grew up immersed in the vibrant musical landscape of his hometown. From IDM and Techno to the Breakbeat and Electro his older brother introduced him to, and even the 90s sounds of Cologne, Estronel channeled this rich tapestry of influences into multiple musical personas. These include Mariel Ito, Maetrik Live, and most famously, Maceo Plex.

While Maceo Plex is widely known for his larger-than-life Techhouse sound and frequent appearances at the world’s biggest festivals, his story goes far deeper. At his core though, the intimacy of the club world remains close to his heart.

He has invited discerning and once-rising figures like Avalon Emerson, Palms Trax and Pearson Sound to share the decks of his very own Mosaic party series in Ibiza, too. Behind the glitz and global appeal, Maceo Plex’s musical ethos stems from Techno and IDM’s exploratory vision. 

Our trusted resident 600-Cell has an uncanny ability to add magic to any dancefloor situation. With years of experience and a well-schooled grasp of sterling dance music, we dare you to miss – any! – of his sets.

From spinning soulful and balmy House & Disco to performing live in a metal band, Julie Fleischer’s deep understanding of dynamics makes her a fitting choice for setting the tone in the crucial opening spot.
