Smells like teen spirit: ELPAWEL & INU G Lou Velvet and southstar bring youthful verve and a genre-blurring selection to the Blitz dancefloor.

The infectious track > miss you  < launched Leon Kirschnek aka southstar’s career just a few years ago and placed him at the forefront of a new wave of Berlin artists navigating techno, trance and eurodance with an unapologetically pop-confirming sensibility. Relatively unconcerned with social media, he’s been busy crafting new material, such as with fellow Berliners like DJ Heartstring, experimenting with breakbeats and happy hardcore on EPs such as > digital chaos < or hip-hop productions with Joje. His Blitz debut in early 2024 drew a full, utterly packed house—now he returns, just in time to celebrate the release of his new EP SUN FM, dropping August 8. > sun is gone <, it’s first track, channels late-summer nostalgia with the very sounds and emotions that first sparked his rise.

Local talents ELPAWEl and INU G—emerging from the vibrant Monaco Dreams microcosmos—serve up bold, unlabelled grooves spanning house, hip-hop, Latin and beyond. Partners in crime and high-energy party starters, they favour rhythm over categorisation and fuel the night with bold tunes from start to finish.

Lou Velvet, meanwhile, is no stranger to Blitz and reaffirms Techno’s timeless virtues with all-vinyl finesse, charismatic restraint, and immersive dramaturgy. With a sharp ear and elegant selections that bridge past and present, she’ll be adding the final touches to the night.
