Rune Reilly Kølsch, aka Kölsch—head of the Ipso imprint and conductor of lavish melodies and stirring dramaturgies, oscillating between labels like Kompakt and the grand festival main stages—returns to Blitz for a rare and intimate club set on Easter Sunday, alongside locals Julës and Ricarda Marai.

“I prefer to work with emotions. My ambition is to transcend language barriers and tap into those primal feelings we all have, regardless of religion and culture,” says Kölsch about his music and approach. While the sounds of vast festival stages seem caught in a race of harder, better, faster, stronger, he remains true to his calling cards: delicate moods, captivating hooks, and expressive narratives in widescreen format. A welcoming burst of color in soft hues at the skyscraper league of dance music—an amiable contrast to the lurid shades of grey. 

The two locals, Julës and Ricarda Marai, play invigorating yet gentle grooves at the intersection of House, Techno, and Techhouse with nuance, and both run their own platforms. Whereas Julës curates his own imprint, Iconic, dedicated to his unique perception of House, the minimal-leaning Ricarda Marai fosters new spaces for communal dance experiences with the aptly titled Local Underground Service crew.

Während sich die Sounds der großen Festivalbühnen zunehmend einem Wettlauf nach härter, schneller, stärker hingeben, bleibt Kölsch seinen Markenzeichen treu: Fesselnde Hooks, ausdrucksstarke Narrative und feinsinnige Stimmungen.

Die Locals julës und Ricarda Marai setzen mit sprudelnden, doch feinfühligen Grooves auf eine eigene Handschrift im Spannungsfeld von House, Techhouse und Techno.
