Formed 2015 by two sisters Brèagha Cuinn (Guitar and vocals)
and Onnagh Cuinn (Bass and vocals) outside a small whiskey
village called Tomintoul in the Highlands. Due to their
remote location, the lack of other musicians meant they were
missing a drummer. To solve the issue, the band went ahead
and performed live with a drum machine.
With multiple releases under their belt and tours stretching
from Europe to Japan (including a tour with The Hives)
Bratakus quickly attracted a wider audience.
