Enji ist zurück mit ihrem neuen Album 'Sonor'. Nach dem Erfolg ihrer letzten Platte ‚Ulaan‘ ging Enji am Ende eines aufregenden und rastlosen Jahres wieder in’s Studio um ihre Erfahrungen zu verarbeiten. Auf ihrem dritten Album bei dem Label Squama behandelt die mongolische Sängerin Fragen von Identität und Heimat in bildreicher Sprache, wachsam und hoffnungsvoll. Wie schon die beiden Vorgänger ‚Ursgal‘ und ‚Ulaan‘ bewegt sich Sonor musikalisch zwischen Jazz und Folk, ohne klar in einem Genre verortbar zu sein.
Live präsentiert Enji ihre Songs in der gewohnten Trio Besetzung mit River Adomeit am Bass und Co-Komponist Paul Brändle an der Gitarre.

Enji is back with her new album Sonor. Following the success of her last record ‘Ulaan’, Enji went back to the studio at the end of last year, which was by far the busiest in her musical life so far, to process everything through writing and recording new music.
On her third album on the Squama label, the Mongolian singer explores questions of identity and belonging through metaphoric language, vigilant and always hopeful. Musically, like its predecessors, Ursgal and Ulaan, Sonor sits somewhere between jazz and folk, without being clearly confined to a single genre.
On stage, Enji performs her new songs in the familiar trio lineup with River Adomeit on bass and co-composer Paul Brändle on guitar.
