HIFI/LOFI Records are back under the disco-balled sky of Renate’s iconic Red Room to celebrate the release of Adnan Khadra’s latest ‘Solar Visions’ EP, this time bringing along Italian mastermind Dodi Palese, your favorite Berlin B2B duo Bonnie Spacey & Franz Matthews, and Adnan Khadra who will also celebrate his Renate debut!

DODI PALESE
============

Growing up with a father who ran a radio station is what installed an eclectic ethic in him, and it set him in goodstead from the off. For many years Dodi was core resident of some clubs in Southern Italy, where he would often spread his musical wings through funk, jazz, soul, afro, disco, house and techno for up to eight hours a night. It was an important learning curve that means he is now able to take a dance floor’s hand and lead it on an unpredictable and rewarding journey through sound that defies the usual categorisations. Dodi also curates his own labels Engrave Ltd, Ràkale and What Ever Not.

BONNIE SPACEY

Bonnie Spacey, French and now Berlin-based Dj/Producer, has been rocking the dance floors since 2016.

She explores the intersection of indie dance, heady techno and dark disco, in both her DJ sets and her own output. « Don’t », her first single, was an immediate success and played by Dixon, Jennifer Cardini and many others. Since then, she played all around the world and accumulated numerous releases on serious labels such as Phisica, Jeahmon! And Lumière Noire to name a few, without forgetting her own label Critical Monday of course.
 

FRANZ MATTHEWS

Based out of Berlin, franco-german music producer, DJ & Live-act Franz Matthews likes to blend worlds together. Either wandering through cosmic, spiritual, or other mental realms, mixed with sonic influences gathered from his travels around the world, Matthews always keeps faithful to one thing : trying to make people groove, while adding something meaningful out of their experience. A winning combination that’s seen him release music on imprints such as Eskimo, AEON, ROAM, Heimlich, as well as his own label HIFI/LOFI Records, but also touring around the world, as well as collaborating and getting remixed by some of the most talented musical minds of modern electronic music.
 

ADNAN KHADRA

Adnan Khadra is a Palestinian-Jordanian DJ and producer based in London. Adnan Khadra's sound is driving, warm, straddling the line between emotional and uplifting moments. His work emphasizes deeply-felt emotions, without compromising on groove and danceability. 

Since his fabric debut in 2022, momentum has been building – as well as organising his own events, he's had further appearances at fabric,  opening Room 1 ahead of Âme, Glowal and Shubostar, and playing twice for their Love Hertz brand at the Cause and more recently opening Room 2 at fabric. He's also released a track in collaboration with Pattn on fabric records, released on Buttress, and will be at Renate to celebrate his latest EP ‘Solar Visions’ out on HIFI/LOFI Records.
