So what remains when everything breaks apart? The five films in this program show fragments we leave behind—relics of who we once were. On a remote island, a village celebrates, while a girl searches for her place in the patriarchal traditions. The survivor of an arson attack finds new hope in the encounter with a stranger. The program is like a cinematic mosaic of shards, which magically fits together through new connections.
