Jam Buddies - 5th Anniversary feat. Nakamarra (Session & Konzert)

28th June 2025, at Auxilio Ki, Emmastr. 17. 40227 Düsseldorf at 5 pm, will be the session that marks the 5. Year Anniversary of Jam Buddies!

Featuring performance from @nakamarra.band, featuring artwork from local artists organised by @benyagramm and @delwood.wav + @pinchrollers are preparing a couple of other special things for the day! The room size will be doubled.

We are looking forward to welcome everyone to the jam session + show – both our regular community members, (new) musicians and listeners and, of course, fans of this new great local band

The Band Nakamarra was formed in and around Düsseldorf in 2025.

Each member brought their own artistic and cultural mix to create the soundscape of Nakamarra, which was influenced by the idea of creating a new territory for modern neo-soul and jazz.

In that pursuit the band felt inspired by artists such as Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse and Hiatus Kaiyote.

The members bring together a unique blend of 7 cultures, that have influenced them not only personally but also musically, just like they have all explored a variety of genres before the band originated.

Let Nakamarra take you on a journey full of soulful grooves and breathtaking vocal performances by their lead singer ,Emely Melinda’.

The 6 members: Emely Melinda (voice), Jakob Kepke (guitar), Alex Pöttigner (drums), Chris Dräger (keys), Emiliano Rodriguez (bass) and Pavlo Treba (trumpet), are exited for the coming musical journey of the following years and releasing an EP at the end of the year.
