K3LLR präsentiert LAGAN

The next K3LLR is hosting the release party and stage debut of Lagan, the new darkwave solo project of Vumantra. Samettianni and Electric Visionary will serve some dark and dancy favorites for the rest of the evening. 

LAGÁN is the music project created back in 2003 by Vince Gagliardi, born from a deep-seated impulse to express the nostalgia for the sounds that shaped his youth. Emerging from the dark and atmospheric worlds of 80s synth-pop and darkwave, LAGAN draws heavy inspiration from iconic acts like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, and all the 80's synth-pop classic music acts. With melancholic synthesizers, industrial fashioned E-drums, a driving bass, and introspective vocals, Vince brings to life a music that echoes the haunting beauty of his influences while carving out his own emotional soundscape. 

Samettianni is a Finnish visual artist and DJ based in Berlin, whose aesthetics, and sets lean toward the darker side. She’s a resident DJ of goth/new romantic Club Anvil based in Helsinki and 1/2 of a disco déplorable collective organizing underground post-punk and darkwave events in various locations in Helsinki and Berlin. When spinning in the dingy and velvety corners, her main thing is bringing the offbeat output of post-punk and (dark)wave to light.
