Embryo ist ein einzigartiges Musikkollektiv aus München, welches Kraut Rock Jazz, freie Improvisation, inner und außereuropäische Rhytmen und Klänge verbindet wie kein Zweites. Embryo existiert seit 1969, übergreift Generationen, Genres und Grenzen. Sie spielten bereits mit Mal Waldron, Okay Temiz, Fela Kuti, Charlie Mariano und vielen anderen.

Marja Burchard, Tochter des Gründers Christian Burchard, übernahm 2015 die Band in welcher sie aufwuchs. Seit dem lebt Embryo mit ihr weiter und sucht stets nach neuen Klängen, Rythmen und Ideen anders denkender.

She bring´s new energy with the same spirit. Jazz, Rock, psychedelic melodies from all over the world, Rhythms and Improvisations are fusing into a new sound never heard before. It s pure music.

They played with the great Jazzpianist Mal Waldron, saxophone player Charlie Mariano, world stars like Trilok Gurtu, Fela Kuti and many others. Since 2016 Christian Burchard´s daughter: Marja, born 1985,who grew up with the Band, is leading Embryo. She bring´s new energy with the same spirit. Jazz, Rock, Ethno Melodies, Rhythms and Improvisations are fusing into a new Sound never heard before. It s pure music.

VIRAL MIND

An instrumental ensemble, formed in Riga, Latvia in mid-2021 blending progressive jazz, rock, Latin, electronica, and other influences to create a unique and unpredictable sound.

Viral Mind's music breaks away from the ordinary by incorporating a diverse range of genres, achieving an organic sound that is extremely captivating and hypnotising during live shows. Their instrumental storytelling allows listeners to create their own unique narratives within the music and get lost in their own created worlds for the entirety of the show.

The band's story began in mid-2021 when the base player, guitarist and drummer met during a jam session at a local music venue. This jam session sparked a creative fire, leading to the formation of Viral Mind. The band's evolution continued with the addition of keyboards, bringing a psychedelic, experimental, and cosmic feel to their sound. In early summer 2023 the ensemble was finalised by an addition of trumpet and saxophone, infusing the sound with jazz and soul influences.
