Les Shirley is a kick-ass all-female rock power trio from Montreal, formed in 2019 by Raphaëlle Chouinard (vocals, guitar), Lisandre Bourdages (drums), and Sarah Dion (bass). Fueled by their tight friendship and a passion for music that blends 90s grunge, 2000s punk rock, and catchy pop hooks, the band delivers a fresh yet nostalgic sound with fiery melodies and electrifying riffs. Their debut EP and first album Forever Is Now earned critical acclaim, with singles like Fuck It I’m in Love gaining significant airplay and over 600K plays across platforms. Their sophomore album, More is More, received an ADISQ nomination for Anglophone Album of the Year, solidifying their place as a powerhouse in the Canadian music scene.

Known for their explosive live performances, Les Shirley has played over 200 shows, sharing stages with icons like Foo Fighters, Weezer, Simple Plan, and Avril Lavigne, and touring extensively across Europe. With TV appearances, charting singles, and their music featured in popular shows, the band continues to build a growing, devoted fanbase. In 2025, Les Shirley is set to release their third album, embark on their first US tour, and return to Europe, promising to take their unapologetic rock energy to even greater heights.

Support: LISL – Indie-Newcomerin mit internationalem Sound

LISL schreibt intime und gleichzeitig riesengroße Indie-Hymnen und klingt nach englischer Riviera oder einem Roadtrip von Portland nach New York. Tatsächlich aber ist LISL eines der noch bestgehüteten Geheimnisse der deutschen Musikszene, heißt Lisa-Marie Kämpf und kommt aus Würzburg.

Das klingt erst mal lokal-heimelig, denn eine „Lisl“ kokettiert mit bayerischem Lokalkolorit: Die Abkürzung lässt im Kopf ein Bild vom frechen, unprätentiösen Mädchen entstehen. Das musikalische Alter Ego aber ist eine LISL, die ihre Seele und Gedankenwelt via deepem, englischen Songtexten Gen-Z-relatable in die Öffentlichkeit trägt. Ihr zeitgenössischer Indie-Rock steht in der Tradition von Liz Phair, Ani DiFranco, Lucinda Williams oder That Dog, die in den 90ern händeweise gitarrensatte Samen säten – und knüpft im Heute an Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, BECKS, Florence Armand, mxmtoon oder Julien Baker an.
