After celebrating their 25th anniversary the legendary band LYCHEE LASSI from Berlin is back and featuring their original lineup.
Founded in 1998/99 in Berlin, Based, Beat, Berger, and DJ illvibe are reuniting to once again bring their unique style mix of hip-hop beats, turntablism, and jam band improvisation to the stage.

After years of performing on the major stages of the country with bands like Seeed, Peter Fox, and Marteria, they’re stripping away all commercial elements as LYCHEE LASSI and connecting hip-hop with jazz, kraut, and funk. But that’s just the foundation—into which countless musical inspirations from history are funneled, infused with wild energy, full
power, and distorted vinyl voices, all in pursuit of total individuality.

Experimental, unique, powerful, and modern—yet spiritually aligned with artists like DJ Spooky or Kid Koala.

It works brilliantly live—ecstatic and simply pure fun.
