Malonda ist eine politische Künstlerin, die ihre Leidenschaft für antirassistische und queer-feministische Themen auf die Bühne bringt. Mit Schwarze Medusa: Sieben Gesänge über Körper und Schlachtfelder, einem neuen Werk, verleiht Malonda Neuinterpretationen und Imaginationen der mythischen Gorgone Stimme und Präsenz. 

MALONDA  ist eine in Berlin lebende Sängerin und „elektrische Diva“, die ihre eigenen Songs schreibt und auf Theaterbühnen glänzt. Sie setzt sich leidenschaftlich für antirassistische und queer-feministische Themen ein. Malonda singt und spricht über Genderrollen, Sexualität und Vielfalt und hat sich als politische Künstlerin einen Namen gemacht. Mit ihrem hochgelobten Debütalbum Mein Herz ist ein dunkler Kontinent tourte  sie mit Laing, Großstadtgeflüster und Moka Efti Orchestra durch Deutschland und spielte auf großen deutschen Festivals wie c/o pop, Pop-Kultur Berlin und dem Reeperbahnfestival. Mit der Anmut von Hildegard Knef und der Power von Grace Jones zelebriert Malonda auf der Bühne, so dass man nicht wegschauen kann und einfach hinhören muss.

Join us for an evening of spoken word and song with Malonda, a political artist who brings her passion for anti-racist and queer feminist issues to the stage. With "Black Medusa: Seven Chants on Bodies and Battlefields", a new work, Malonda gives voice and presence to new interpretations and imaginings of the mythic Gorgon.

MALONDA is a Berlin-based singer and “electric diva” who writes her own songs and shines on theatre stages. She is passionate about anti-racist and queer-feminist issues. Singing and speaking about gender roles, sexuality, and diversity, Malonda has made a name for herself as a political artist. She toured across Germany with Laing, Großstadtgeflüster, and Moka Efti Orchestra, with her highly acclaimed debut album Mein Herz ist ein dunkler Kontinent (My Heart is a Dark Continent), and played at major German showcase festivals such as c/o pop, Pop-Kultur Berlin, and the Reeperbahnfestival. With the grace of Hildegard Knef and the power of Grace Jones, Malonda celebrates on stage, where you can not look away and are brought to listen.
