The young Thomas Hutter is sent on a long journey to Transylvania by his employer. There, he is to travel to the eerie castle of the mysterious Count Orlok to finalize the purchase of a property. However, Count Orlok behaves very strangely, and not everything seems to be in order at the castle. Gradually, the skeptical Thomas realizes that the Count is not an ordinary person but rather a menacing creature of the night. To make matters worse, Count Orlok also has his sights set on Thomas´s wife Ellen and soon sets off with all his belongings to draw the young woman completely under his devilish spell. This is a remake of Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau´s horror classic Nosferatu, inspired by the deadly vampire Dracula.
