Postcards is a shoegaze/grunge trio from Beirut, Lebanon, featuring Julia Sabra (vocals/guitar), Pascal Semerdjian (drums), and Marwan Tohme (guitar/bass). Formed in 2012, they are Lebanon’s longest-running alternative band, crafting a sound that blends dream pop, shoegaze, post-punk, and noise. As the world around them crumbles, Postcards transmute their rage into something transcendental. With their fifth studio album Ripe (28.03.2025) , the Lebanese trio take everything they’ve built over the past decade and stretch it into new, unexpected directions. Ripe is as much a departure as it is a natural evolution for the band: rawer, darker, but with the same unflinching resolve - a fitting response to the turmoil their region is currently enduring. A must see !
