Spandau20, everyone’s favorite brand for blunt and banging, jacking dance music from West Berlin, is back to rock the ppaarrttyy at Blitz! Fusing ’90s grooves and analog sounds with contemporary production and influences from Breaks, IDM, and Warehouse, the imprint and crew have put the fun back in Berlin Techno with their captivating youthful nonchalance and rave-like euphoria.

Straight off the back of their first album release, SPND20 010, the label’s collaborative effort showcases their musical breadth: expect FJAAK, Elli Acula, and Claus in top form.

Alongside FJAAK—the imprint’s flagship act known for their storming sound spanning Power House to stomping Warehouse Techno—Elli Acula and Claus take to the booth. Elli Acula, another foundational member of Spandau20, plays pumping, propelling TECHNO in BOLD and CAPITAL letters, infused with hints of Rave, Breakbeat, and Electro—peak-time euphoria guaranteed. Meanwhile, Claus is arguably one of the crew’s more enigmatic members: the multidisciplinary artist thrives on a comparatively modest approach to Spandau20’s otherwise upfront formula.
