Seit 2020 ist das Tempelhofer Feld ein Ort der Begegnung für die Flamenco-Community Berlins. Auf dem dauerhaft verlegten Tanzboden kommen Profis, Amateure und Neugierige regelmäßig zusammen – zum gemeinsamen Üben, Improvisieren, Austauschen und Entdecken. Dabei wird Flamenco als gelebte Kunstform ganz selbstverständlich Teil des öffentlichen Raums.

Der Flamenco hat seine Wurzeln nicht in Konzertsälen, sondern im Alltag – geboren aus dem Leben, gefeiert in Innenhöfen, auf Plätzen und Festen. Diesen Ursprung tragen wir weiter: hinaus in die Öffentlichkeit, hinein in die Stadt, als lebendiger Ausdruck von Kultur und Gemeinschaft.

Since 2020, Tempelhofer Feld has become a vibrant meeting place for Berlin’s flamenco community.

On the permanently installed dance floor, professionals, amateurs, and curious passersby come together regularly – to practice, improvise, exchange ideas, and explore. In doing so, flamenco becomes a living art form that naturally belongs in public space.

Flamenco did not originate in concert halls, but in everyday life – born from lived experience, celebrated in courtyards, on streets, and at community gatherings.

We carry this spirit forward: bringing it into the public, into the city – as a vibrant expression of culture and togetherness.
