Moritz Ostruschnjak, einer der international gefragtesten deutschen Choreografen, spürt den Verbindungen von fanatischem Fantum und politischem Protest nach – und bedient sich in seiner unverwechselbaren Handschrift der Logik der Social Media. Auf der Oberfläche: Fußball allerorten. Stadiongesänge, Videos von Spielen, FIFA-Sitzungen, Bengalos, Maskottchen. Dahinter verschwimmt Fankultur in den politischen Raum und zeigt eine Gesellschaft, die sich der Macht der Bilder ergibt und in Polarisierung zerfällt.

Moritz Ostruschnjak, one of the most internationally sought-after German choreographers, traces the connections between fanaticism and political protest – and uses the logic of social media in his unmistakable style. On the surface, soccer is everywhere. Stadium chants, videos of matches, FIFA meetings, Bengalos, mascots. Underneath, fan culture blurs into the political sphere and shows a society that surrenders to the power of images and fractures into polarization.
