The Meltdown deliver Southern soul with echoes of Stax, Motown, and Nashville’s songwriting tradition. Anchored by Simon Burke’s captivating and soulful voice, their music blends hypnotic grooves, graceful horns, and heartfelt melodies to move both hearts and feet.

Since signing with Melbourne’s Hopestreet Recordings in 2015, the band has earned acclaim for their debut album (The Meltdown, 2017), mesmerizing live performances, and festival appearances. Their second album, It’s A Long Road (2022), further showcased their world-class sound.
