The Pulse of Arrival

The Pulse of Arrival brings together a group of artists whose works emerge through deeply embodied and intuitive processes. Rather than unfolding from conceptual structures or external narratives, these pieces arise from a state of inward attention. Creation begins not as an idea but as a sensation, a rhythm, a need. The exhibition traces a quiet arc. It moves from the internal state of immanence, where form is latent within the body and psyche, to the moment of arrival known as kairos, when that form is called forth. This arrival is not fixed or singular. It pulses through the work and reveals the artist’s presence as something fluid, momentary, and alive. Each piece is a record of a transient encounter, a gesture shaped by memory, emotion, or sensation as it moves through time. In the layering of pigment, the shaping of clay, or the magnetism of material to material, what surfaces is not a constructed image but a resonance. Each work becomes a crystallization of the felt. Through the practices of Jens Joneleit, Eloisa Correa, Conxi Sane, and others, The Pulse of Arrival reimagines authorship as a process of attunement. It becomes a coalescence of timing, material, and inner movement. Here, the self does not declare itself but arrives, form by form, breath by breath.

 

Heloisa Corrêa (b. 1961, Brazil) 

Corrêa’s practice centers on the tactile and intuitive possibilities of painting and sculpture. Drawing from her Brazilian heritage and experiences of migration, she explores the interplay between memory, landscape, and bodily sensation. Her works often emerge from spontaneous gestures, layered pigments, textured surfaces, and organic forms, evoking the rhythms of nature and the passage of time. Through this embodied approach, Corrêa invites viewers to encounter her art as a space of presence, where personal history and collective experience converge in the act of making. Her recent projects investigate the porous boundaries between self and environment, tracing how identity is shaped by both place and process. 

 

Conxi Sane (b. 1986, Spain)

Sane’s multidisciplinary practice explores the resonance of material and gesture as pathways to presence. Working across ceramics, drawing, and installation, she embraces intuitive processes, allowing touch, repetition, and chance to guide the evolution of form. Her works often reference natural cycles and the quiet transformation of everyday materials, inviting a meditative engagement with time and impermanence. Through subtle shifts in texture and structure, Sane creates spaces where the viewer is invited to slow down and attune to the sensory world. Her recent projects reflect a deep attentiveness to the interplay between body, material, and environment, foregrounding making as a contemplative act.

 

Jens Joneleit (b. 1968, Germany) 

Joneleit is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, music, and film. Educated in both art and music in the United States, he is recognized internationally for his dynamic visual works and acclaimed compositions, including operas and orchestral pieces. His paintings are marked by bold textures, metallic surfaces, and experimental techniques, reflecting his interest in the interplay of material, rhythm, and improvisation. His process draws from his background as a percussionist and composer, infusing each work with a sense of movement and immediacy, exploring the boundaries between sound, image, and narrative, inviting viewers to experience art as a multisensory encounter.
