Gothenburg's garage-psych sweethearts Waterboarding School are bringing their sun-drenched sound to Berlin on June 6 for a rare live performance that promises blissful nostalgia and jangly, surf-tinged euphoria.

Fresh off the release of their third album The Little Sports Mirror—a compact, 8-track gem running just under 20 minutes—this five-piece Swedish band is making waves with a sound that fuses ‘60s garage rock and dreamy West Coast pop. Fans of Allah-Las, The Count Five, or July will feel right at home, but there’s something unmistakably modern and uniquely Waterboarding School in every track.

Having quietly carved out a following since 2017, the band has developed a devoted cult fanbase with their laid-back yet emotionally rich approach to songwriting. Their latest singles “In The Morning” and “You Got To Go” show a grittier edge, hinting at a new sonic chapter without abandoning the hypnotic warmth that defines their style.

Sacred Buzz is a 4-piece psych garage band from Berlin, Germany. It materialized out of thin air in the hot summer of 2023 and already became known for stirring up Berlin's psych underground scene with their mesmerizing blend of raw energy, kaleidoscopic patterns, and psychedelic rhythm.

On 1st November 2024, their debut EP Radio Radiation was released on Irish Fuzzed Up & Astromoon records on cassettes and digitally and received critical acclaim with various radios, blogs, and outlets throughout Europe, the UK, and the US.
