Like it raw? 8 acts do shorter sets, where we encourage risk and exploration! Focus on women and queer folks, but everyone welcome to watch! Join us Wednesdays at Heine Bar in Moabit for the hottest new show in town.

WHY: Currently as I am aware, there is no weekly open mic in English specifically for women and queer folks. So let's do this! (Everyone welcome to watch!)

WHAT: What is a comedy mic? For newer comedians and experienced alike to work out new jokes, test new ideas in a structured way.

WILL THE SHOW BE ANY GOOD? YES. Tera has over 29 years of stage experience and 7 years of stand up. She makes it fun! Also, the attitude you bring is everything - Come to support the next generation of comedians!

What is FLINTA focused? We prioritize 80% performers who are women, queer folks. Althought that is the priority, we have occasional spots for majority dudes and welcome everyone to attend, as long as you’re cool, bro!!

WHAT IS UNCENSORED? This is also not a designated “safe space” meaning we welcome controversial ideas with open arms, knowing that this is a welcoming, workshop environment for Comedy! Comedy is complicated and we embrace complexity, as well as our diversity of experiences! (Of course, no overt discrimination will be tolerated. And no overt trauma dumping! Bring your trauma but make it funny, please!) However, we ENCOURAGE the darker, riskier side of comedy at this mic! Make sense?

WHERE DO I SIGN UP? You sign up in the Facebook event. Write "Spot". If selected, you will be added to the FB group. If not - Sign up again! There is lots of interest, so you must be patient.

WHAT IS PAY AT THE END: Pay what you think the show is worth. However, this is not a free show. We ask you pay something at the end. You get 8 acts, a night of fun, and a professional host!

TERA KILBRIDE Has over 29 years stage experience, 7 years comedy and hosting. She teaches Crowd Work and Hosting workshops as well. She has toured all over Europe (17 countries and counting!) and been on TV and at festivals.
