Aerial Arts Festival Berlin

Aerial Arts Festival Berlin was founded in 2016 by Berlin Verein VUESCH, a co-operative, not-for-profit group that offers training space for circus professionals, regular classes and open training. 

By putting on the Berlin Aerial Arts Festival we hope to bring together the best aerial artists, practitioners, teachers and enthusiasts from all over the world, to celebrate and develop our art-form together. The festival comprises of workshops, masterclasses, jamming sessions, shows, WIP performance, networking events and much more.

In 2019 we offered a large-scale festival at SEZ, with funding from the Berlin Senat.

In 2021 we offered an outdoor version of the festival in collaboration with Revier Sudost, including workshops and three nights of performance.

In 2023, with funding from Draussenstadt, we presented two days of festival shows outside in neighbourhood locations.

In 2025, we have once again received funding from the Cultural Senate of Berlin — expect a full programme of evening-length shows, spectacular gala acts, international workshops, networking, jam sessions, works in progress, concert, bar, sauna and more…
