FRAMED FEST returns to Berlin’s iconic Wasserturm with a stunning and ambitious programme – “Homesick”, the first-ever all neon exhibition by world-renowned artist Yael Bartana, eight exclusive duos and original compositions spanning jazz, modern classical and chamber pop.
The programme includes conventional classical, jazz and world music, sound experiments, visual arts, dance performances and poetic presentations.
In addition to the main performances, workshops and lectures are offered to deepen understanding and enable active audience participation. The ‘duet’ format serves as a catalyst for dialogue between different cultures, traditions and genres. It fosters closeness and intimacy, both between artists and between artists and their audiences. It aims to provide a platform where prejudices and barriers are overcome through genuine interpersonal encounters.
