8 TIMES WILDER is a dreamlike encounter between a veterinarian and a beached, agonizing whale. The veterinarian is confronted with the cruelty of a delicate decision: whether or not to kill a beached whale. And if so, how?

The protagonist doesn't give in to the need for a simple and immediate answer to the dilemma, but instead delves deeply into its complexity, and it is precisely in this complicated complexity that she finds unconditional love for herself and for the whale: an abyss in which her soul can still be reflected.
Where can we recognize our soul if not in the belly of the whale?
