Ayşe Erkmen is represented with her artwork "Balkanık" (2003/2025) in the exhibition It's Just a Matter of Time. Deutsche Bank Collection in Dialogue. Not a conventional work of art, the cake - a traditional recipe that the artist has reinterpreted with her own instructions - combines ingredients from different cultures and thus symbolizes, among other things, transcultural exchange.
