With its explosive blend of alternative rock, electronic elements and unbridled energy, AWOLNATION has proven in recent years that the project is far more than just a short-lived phenomenon. Aaron Bruno, the frontman, songwriter and creative force behind the project, has spent most of the time since the project's inception in 2009 continuously developing the band and constantly setting new standards. With a unique fusion of genres and anthemic melodies, AWOLNATION have thrilled millions of fans worldwide - and the enthusiasm remains unbroken. The big breakthrough came in 2011 with the mega-hit "Sail", a song that changed the music landscape forever. With its dark, minimalist sound and catchy hook, it not only conquered the charts, but also became a cultural phenomenon. "Sail" achieved diamond status, was covered and sampled countless times, and made AWOLNATION one of the most exciting bands on the alternative rock scene overnight. With albums such as "Megalithic Symphony" (2011), "Run" (2015), "Here Come the Runts" (2018) and "Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders" (2020), AWOLNATION have proven time and again that they are not resting on their laurels. Each album picks up on new sound influences: sometimes characterized by electronic beats and pop influences, sometimes raw, organic and full of rock attitude. Aaron Bruno's music is a constant evolution, pushing boundaries while maintaining emotional depth. Now the band is setting off for new musical shores with their latest work "The Phantom Five" (2024) and is also coming to Germany for two shows in June.
