The newcomer from Wales comes to Germany for his first headline shows

Ben Ellis is a promising talent with a great future ahead of him, and not just in his native Wales. For his fans, the singer is more of a friend than just an artist and is on the verge of a major international breakthrough. With his songs "Ed's House", "Sofia", "Does It Get Cold In California", "not this time" and "No One Sleeps In Hollywood", he has reached the most listeners on Spotify so far and has built up a considerable following with further singles and two EPs within three years. Ben Ellis was able to sell out and upgrade his first headline tour, after which he toured the UK and Europe in support of Alfie Jukes. This summer, the singer will be performing at festivals such as Latitude and TRNSMT. Ben Ellis recently announced his My Love Stays On tour with nine concerts in the UK and has already promised his fans on the European mainland that they need not worry. He and his band will also be coming there in mid-September for his first headline shows. The My Love Stays On Tour will then take him to Munich, Berlin and Cologne.

Born and raised in Cardiff, Benjamin Payne moved to London after school to study music. He has been singing for as long as he can remember, started writing his first songs at the age of ten and took guitar lessons at 14. Under his stage name Ben Ellis, the singer made his debut in 2022 with his song "not this time", a singer-songwriter ballad with modern beats, an alternative twist and contemporary production that was quickly well received. The track "Ed's House" followed in 2023 alongside three other singles, all of which were bundled together on the "Ed's House EP" in November 2023. Further singles were released in 2024, of which "No One Sleeps In Hollywood" and "Does It Get Cold In California" stand out. Once again, Ben Ellis bundled his previously released singles with a previously unreleased track - the emotional singer-songwriter ballad "never getting out " - on an EP. "The Hollywood EP" was released in February 2025 and was described by Hamburg's Reeperbahn Festival, where the singer will also be performing in September, as a collection of "six sleek and dynamically produced catchy tunes". His music picks up on rock and pop elements with indie vibes and alternative elements and is driven by his narrative vocals with modern beats. Ben Ellis will undoubtedly prove in 2025 just how much potential the British newcomer has shown so far.
