DER ZWEITE ANSCHLAG – Erinnerung und Gedenken selbst erkämpft und partizipativ aus der Perspektive von Betroffenen

A non-violent death and self-determined mourning are also a privilege in Germany. This workshop is about the continuity of racist violence and self-determined remembrance for the bereaved. The workshop will be led by activist and historical-political educator Ibrahim Arslan - victim and survivor of the racist arson attacks in Mölln in 1992, in which three of his family members were killed. From the perspective of one of those affected, he talks about racist violence, the lack of information and self-determined mourning. The workshop also includes the documentary film "DER ZWEITE ANSCHLAG - Rassistische Gewalt in Deutschland. An indictment of those affected" by Mala Reinhardt (Germany, 2018, 62 min.). The workshop is aimed at people affected by racism as well as all allies and interested parties.
