A breath of fresh air at Sonnenhügel! Sonnenhügel Secondary School finally has a band again this school year and was able to celebrate its first performance at the school Christmas party with great success. Spurred on by this thunderous applause, the still very young band dares to take to the big May Weeks stage and presents a short program of their favourite songs together with the vocal group.

Lennart Tecklenburg doesn't need much for his music. With his guitar and loop station, he builds the framework for each song live and lets his audience participate in the process in real time. The young musician from Hagen am Teutoburger Wald has gained his experience as a street musician and at both private and public events and is now ready for the big stage.

zealu is an up-and-coming indie-pop project that first existed solo and has now been together with a live band for a year. I, Freddie (they/none) am the core of the project & write songs that move between emotions, self-discovery, letting go & queerness. Gently zealu combines honest, approachable lyrics with music that is suitable for falling in love as well as for euphoric dancing and crying.

Recently we supported Lena & Linus (Indie-Pop), Aymz (DeutschPop), Mayberg (Deutschpop), Dives (Indie-Rock/Pop), Get Jealous (Alternative), Remote Bondage etc. on their tour and played at nice festivals like Reeperbahnfestival (Hamburg), SNNTG Festival (Hannover), neue wellen Festival (Cologne), and midsommar (Munich).
